10 min photo manipulation
Here is a basic photo manipulation I did.
It is really simple. It is suppoed to look like she is being hit by the lightning but i only spent like 10 minutes on it so it isn't that great.

Cool painting with light tutorial
Okay, as my first post to this blog I will be writing about a Photoshop tutorial as an assignment for my graphic design class, whose blog can be found here: nhsgd1.blogspot.com
To get right down to business, this tutorial is about painting with light. I have always liked this effect and this tutorial caught my eye. If you don't know what I mean here is a pic:
Also here is the url for this tutorial: http://www.computerarts.co.uk/tutorials/2d__and__photoshop/painting_with_light
Any way I really liked this tutorial and learned a number of things. One thing I found particularly interesting was the use multiple layers to get the lighting effect the way it is. I also learned how to use scanned images and patterns in the art, namely the lettering as well as a spray of paint. I think that this tutorial is a good way to learn how to incorporate the combination of real images as well as a first step in manipulating the lighting of the image.
